From the Pierrot family this mask is archetype of the Court clown
Made using the traditional Venetian paper mache technique this mask is then smoothed with a fine plaster cast and hand decorated with acrylic paints
The eyes edged in black with tears falling from the eyes, both eyebrows are raised in horror or surprise, the nose and lips are painted in red
Secures with ribbon ties this mask is named Volto Pagliaccio which is Italian for Clown face
